Dr. Taha Bat, MD
Founder & Host
Dr. Taha Bat, M.D. is an assistant professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from Hacettepe University and completed his residency in internal medicine at Western Reserve Health Education in 2016. He finished his experimental medicine fellowship at Clevelend Clinic in 2017 and his hematology/oncology fellowship at the University of Buffalo/Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in 2020.
Ahmet Toprak

Ahmet Toprak is a medical student at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He earned his B.S. in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University in 2022.

Dr. Srinivasa Sanikommu, MD
Host
Dr. Srinivasa Sanikommu, M.D. is a board-certified internist and hematologist-oncologist. He received his medical degree from Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences and completed his residency at Michigan State University. He completed a fellowship in hematology-oncology at Atrium Health's Levine Cancer Institute and a fellowship in translational hematology and oncology research at Cleveland Clinic. He currently works as a hematologist-oncologist at Levine Cancer Institute.
Dr. Weina Chen, MD, PHD
Host
Dr. Weina Chen, M.D., Ph.D., is a professor and Medical Director of the Hematopathology Division at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She earned her medical degrees at Shanghai Medical College and her Ph.D. in Biophysics at Ecole Polytechnique. She completed her pathology residency and hematopathology fellowship at UT Southwestern after conducting research at Duke University and the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. Dr. Chen previously served as faculty at MD Anderson Cancer Center before returning to UT Southwestern.
Dr. Adeel Khan, MD, MPH, MS
Host
Dr. Adeel Khan, M.D., M.P.H., M.S., is an assistant Professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center within the Division of Hematology and Oncology. He received his medical degree from the University of Michigan and furthered his education with a master's in public health from Harvard University and a Master's in Epidemiology from Columbia University. His medical training includes an internship and residency at the Cleveland Clinic, a fellowship in hematology/oncology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School, and is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
